On yesterday’s Webinar, one new member was asking about the availability of company Splash Pages. We discussed the value of Splash Pages and Lead Capture Pages when promoting your referral URL to Traffic Exchanges, Safe Lists, and Classified advertising websites.

Here is a sample of one of the Splash Pages we use for directing attention to the ability to make multiple streams of revenue using the Waterfall motif.

The use of an attention-getting Splash Page can often be more effective than just using your basic referral URL. It stands out, it’s unique, it draws attention to the main points that you want to appeal to those viewing your Page, and ultimately it makes a viewer curious enough to click on it to see what you are offering that they might not know about yet. Splash Pages work well for attracting the attention of the curious Internet Networker!

When you make your own Splash Pages, you have the ability to brand yourself and maintain control over your design and content. My intent with my example is to give people the concept of money flowing like a waterfall to them with the visual image that is used on this Blog. I am branding the Blog while reinforcing the idea of multiple streams of income by using the waterfall as the backdrop for the Splash Page. It will lead to additional pages which will enhance this concept as the program becomes more popular and we advertise on even more sites.

We are presently promoting our Splash Pages and referral URLs at ten to twelve Traffic Exchanges. We have started to promote this Blog now that we have the first set of posts here with the Spanish Blog coming soon.

We find that many people don’t want to enter their names and email addresses on Lead Capture Pages, but they will click on a Splash Page to view an offer. However, we do use Lead Capture Pages to build our Mailing Lists and get more specific contact information to follow-up on our Leads. We don’t usually ask for the phone number on the Lead Capture page and we let the AutoResponder do that later should contacts want to talk about the business. Lead Capture Pages will get a much better response rate when you give something to the person for giving you their information. An eBook or some valuable give-away is ideal for grabbing their attention long enough to take the time to fill out the fields for name and email address.

If you don’t have the templates that you need to make a Lead Capture Page; then we will be sharing some of these tools with you in the future. If you have a domain where you can host your Lead Capture and Splash Pages, that’s perfect. If not; then you will need to use the systems that host the pages for you on their servers.

Now where exactly do you put these Splash Pages and Lead Capture Pages, so that Internet Marketers see them? We prefer Traffic Exchanges and AutoSurf or ManualSurf sites for this purpose. You might enjoy surfing to earn credits for other members of these sites to view your pages and you might find that you can locate many good Leads while looking at member’s sites in the process. It’s a good idea to promote your pages at a Traffic Exchange for about a month and if you are getting new members; then keep using that TE. If you don’t get any responses for your primary offer, then use a Lead Capture Page to build your Mailing List and go on to the next new TE for fresh eyes. There’s no point in surfing for credits when no one is responding to your offer, so just delete that account and spend the time on another TE.

If you don’t have a Splash or Lead Capture Page yet, you can use your primary referral URL and enter it into the rotation of these Traffic Exchanges. It will work just fine until you create your own special Splash Pages for these sites. You can use Banner Ad and Text Ads on these TE sites, too. You’ll get a steady stream of targeted Traffic, but you will have to spend twenty minutes or more to earn credits by viewing member websites as a free member. You can purchase advertising, but I think it’s better to earn credits and find some good Leads when you see names and email addresses and/or phone numbers on the other member’s sites while surfing. They are active and dedicated Internet Marketers who are promoting one or more programs and they will often join your offer if you can make it attractive and compelling!

As Leaders, we are expected to share concrete ideas and methods for promotion, advertising, prospecting, and marketing our products and programs. It is a necessity to do this every day to support the growth of our businesses.

Groups of diverse individuals can help one another while also helping their own business to gain market share. It is tricky to find ways to do this together in a complimentary manner that is cooperative, instead of competitive. We are going to share one resource today that meets this criteria.
