The Record for the Most Expensive Fish ever purchased by a sushi wholesaler in Japan was just set for the Blue Fin Tuna. The Blue Fin Tuna in the video below sold for $396,000! This is one big fish story.

Blue Fin Tuna are prized for the quality of sushi that is revered, thus the value of this huge Blue Fin fish was worth it’s weight for setting this new Record. Although the Blue Fin Tuna is one of the largest bony fishes in the ocean, it is not the largest – that honor goes to the Blue Whale. However, since Blue Whales are endangered, they are no longer commercially brought to market. The Blue Fin Tuna and other fish are some of the most sought-after fish in the world, because they are consumed by millions of people every day.
